  1. Prepare 150 gr green beans
  2. Prepare Dry coating:
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp all purpose flour

  6. Make ready 1/4 cup ice water

Fry in the oil in batches, until they are golden and crisp. Remove from oil to a paper towel lined sheet tray. Place the parchment paper on the bottom of the air fryer basket. Place a single layer of the battered beans in the air fryer.

Instructions to make Green Bean Tempura:
  1. Wash the green beans then dry them using paper towels.
  2. Discard the edges then cut beans into 2 parts.
  3. Mix all ingredients for wet coating. Stir well.
  4. Coat the green beans into the dry coating, then dip them into the wet coating.
  5. Deep fry them at 350°F for 1 - 2 minutes or until golden color.

Repeat with any remaining battered beans. Wash the fresh green beans and snap off any stems. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder in one bowl. Add the water and oil to the flour and mix until a batter forms.
