Shakshouka (Arabic: ???????????? ???, also spelled shakshuka or chakchouka) is a dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, olive oil, peppers, onion and garlic, and commonly spiced with cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper and nutmeg.

Steps to make Shakshuka:
  1. Heat oil in Pan on medium heat, Add Chorizo and cook until done, remove and put aside.
  2. Keeping the flavor left from the Chorizo, add Onion, Capsicum and Garlic to the pan, sweat off.
  3. Add Crushed Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Chilli Powder, Chilli Flakes, Cumin, and sugar, once cooked through for 5 minutes, turn to low heat.
  4. Slice cooked Chorizo and add to the Pan.
  5. Make 6 indents into the pan to fit in the eggs, Crack eggs in pan and place a lid.
  6. Once Eggs are cooked, Remove lid, Season with Salt/Pepper & Garnish with Parsley/Cilantro.
