  6. Notes- use a spatula, when placing in oil. I used my hands and just picked them up and one fell apart, my 2nd batch I placed in with a spatula

I normally dont have a lot of mashed potatoes left over but I happened to have some from yesterday's Sunday dinner. I am definitely gonna make these tonight! In a large skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. In a large bowl, lightly beat one egg. Add the onion, potatoes, flour, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce if desired.
