Pour remaining pasta sauce over meatloaf. Italian Meatloaf is a tender, flavorful meatloaf made from a combination of ground beef and Italian sausage. Cooked in a rich tomato sauce and covered with a thick layer of Fontina cheese. It's like eating a giant meatball!

Steps to make Italian Meatloaf:

  2. Heat olive oil in skillet, over low-medium heat. Add pepper, onion, and garlic.
  3. Saute until translucent, then remove from heat.
  4. Combine all other ingredients (hands work the best, just make sure their clean!) EXCEPT FOR THE MARINERA AND KETCHUP!
  5. Add cooled sauteed veggies
  6. Mix well!!
  7. Form into loaf on a baking pan, the one I used is a 11x17. With plenty of extra space
  8. Mix together both marinera sauce and ketchup, pour about half over top of loaf. Then place in oven to bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until center reaches 160°F.
  9. Finished product! I served this with a side of Oven Baked Parsley Red Potatoes!
