Artisan bread is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. They’re fine and they look fantastic. Artisan bread is something which I’ve loved my whole life.

Instructions to make Artisan bread:
  1. Whisk together the bread flour, yeast, and sea salt.
  2. Gradually pour in 1 1/2 cups of water, and mix with a spatula or your hands, until the dough starts to form.
  3. Cover with aluminum foil, and leave to rest at room temperature for 3-4 hours. Move to the fridge to store for up to 2-3 days.
  4. Remove the cold dough from the bowl, and place on a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into two pieces, and using your hands shape each piece into a loaf.
  5. Preheat the oven to 246 degrees celsius. Place the loaves on a floured non stick baking tray, and cover for 45 minutes.
  6. After 45 minutes, bake the dough for 20-25 minutes. Once the crust is golden brown, remove the tray from the oven and allow the bread to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

It's a very short list of ingredients to make this perfect loaf of homemade artisan bread. All-purpose flour, sea salt, yeast and sugar are the only ingredients you need. I use Sherpa Pink Himalayan Salt in my kitchen. All you need is: FLOUR: Bread flour results in a softer, fluffier bread because of the higher protein content. Regular all purpose or plain flour also work really well, with the texture changing only a little.
