  5. Make ready 1/4 onion, minced
  6. Get 3 cloves garlic, minced

  8. Get 1/2 tsp vegetable oil for frying the eggs
  9. Prepare 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  10. Take 1/4 tsp salt or to taste
  11. Take 1/4 tsp white pepper powder or to taste
  12. Take 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
  13. Take 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Why go out when you can have the best fried rice right at home, fresh and steaming hot right that tastes just like Chinese fried rice. Lightly fry the garlic in the bacon fat/oil in the same pan you fried the bacon. Don't let the garlic get brown. Add the cold rice and the peas and carrots and let it all warm at high temperature and break up the big pieces of rice.

Steps to make Bacon Fried Rice:
  1. Heat vegetable oil. Add beaten eggs. Gently scramble the eggs. Remove from the heat. Set aside.
  2. Add bacon to the wok. Allow it to render and become crisp. Take it out of the wok and set aside. Leave bacon oil 1 Tbsp in the pan and throw away the rest of it.
  3. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  4. Add carrot, peas, and corn. Keep stirring until the vegetables cooked.
  5. Add rice. Season with soy sauce, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir well. Use a spatula to break the clumps. Adjust the taste.
  6. Add scrambled eggs, cooked bacon, green onions, and sesame oil. Mix well again.
